Over 88 per cent polling in Vellore, nearby districts

More than 88 per cent of polling was recorded in Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupattur, and Tiruvannamalai districts for Tamil Nadu Assembly elections that was held on Thursday. 

Election officials said that among four districts, Tiruvannamalai registered the highest polling percentage with 88.98%, followed by Tirupattur (88.62%), Vellore (88.61%), and Ranipet (88.04%) as on 8.30 p.m on Thursday.
