Over 2,700 voters opt for postal ballot in Kallakurichi district

Postal voting for senior citizens aged 85 years and above, and persons with benchmark disabilities will be conducted across all four Assembly constituencies in Kallakurichi district on April 17, 18 and 19, ahead of the Assembly elections.

A total of 1,130 senior citizens and 1,637 persons with disabilities who opted for home voting through Form 12 D will be covered under the exercise. For this purpose, 37 special teams have been formed.
