One killed, five injured as SUV crashes into under-construction wall in Choutuppal

A 40-year-old man was killed and five others were injured after a sport utility vehicle (SUV) veered off the road and crashed into an under-construction wall in Tupranpet, under the limits of Choutuppal Police Station, on Tuesday (May 5, 2026) morning.

The deceased was identified as Venkata Rama Raju, one of the six occupants in the vehicle. All of them were caterers travelling to a film shooting location at an industrial park in Mallapur when the accident occurred. The injured sustained minor wounds and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
