The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR & CE) Department has appointed a six-member committee to inspect and submit a report on the annadhanam scheme at the Sri Subramanyaswamy temple in Tiruchendur.

The team will also inspect all aspects of the scheme and the rooms of the guest houses meant for the stay of devotees.

This follows an inspection by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR & CE) Minister S. Ramesh at the temple recently. The order issued by Commissioner T.G. Vinay directed officials at the temple to co-operate with the team. The department transferred the officials of the Tiruchendur temple last week.
