The Telangana government has made it clear that employees who failed to link their Aadhaar details with the IFMIS portal by the October 25 midnight deadline will not receive their salary for the month.

In a memo circulated on October 25, the Finance department emphasised that all categories of employees, including regular, contract and outsourcing personnel, must update their Aadhaar information to receive their October salary. The memo warned that salaries will be put on hold for employees who do not comply with the Aadhaar linking requirement.

This decision applies to all government departments, institutions, public sector undertakings, universities, corporations and societies. The Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Director of Works Accounts, Pay and Accounts Officer, and other drawing and disbursing officers have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the instructions, according to Principal Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania.
