India’s Miss World 2026 journey ended with Nikita Porwal finishing among the Top 40. She could not make it to the Top 20 at the grand finale in Vietnam. The Femina Miss India World 2024 winner could not advance to the Top 20 at the grand finale being held in Vietnam.
For the unversed, Nikita represented India at the 73rd edition of the international pageant and managed to make it to the Top 40. However, her journey came to an end before the Top 20 finalists were announced.
Nikita Porwal’s Miss World 2026 journey comes to an end
The Miss India Organisation on Saturday night shared an update on Instagram, confirming her position in the competition. Sharing a post on Instagram, the Miss India Organisation wrote, “@nikitaporwal_ concludes her 73rd Miss World journey among the Top 40, continuing India’s remarkable streak of placing at eight consecutive editions of Miss World.”
The organisation also praised Nikita for her journey at the global pageant. The post further read, “Nikita, you carried India with grace, conviction and heart on one of the world’s biggest stages. From every moment you gave us to every cheer you brought home, thank you for representing us so beautifully. India is proud of you, always.”
Who is Nikita Porwal?
For the unversed, Nikita Porwal hails from Madhya Pradesh and rose to fame after winning the Femina Miss India World crown in 2024. Before entering the world of beauty pageants, she completed her graduation from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
Nikita began her career as a TV anchor and later ventured into theatre. She also has a keen interest in films and dreams of working with renowned directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
