Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said in a social media post that the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) achieved two Guinness World Records in Andhra Pradesh through Rajpath Infracon Private Limited by laying 28.95 lane-km and 10,675 MT of bituminous concrete continuously in a span of 24 hours in Bengaluru-Kadapa-Vijayawada Economic Corridor (NH-544G).

NHAI will ready feasibility report on access roads from NH-16 to Bhogapuram airport: MP

He stated that it was an extraordinary achievement that reflects the vision of the Government of India and its sustained thrust on the creation of world-class highway infrastructure under the leadership of Nitin Gadkari, and the exceptional commitment of engineers, workers and field teams, which executed the work in full compliance with stringent NHAI quality standards.

The CM conveyed best wishes to the team as two more Guinness World Records are being attempted by January 11, 2026, in the second and third packages of NH-544G.
