New Hyderabad zones see transfer of 20 senior police officers

The creation of multiple new police zones in Hyderabad city has triggered a reshuffle of senior officers, with the Telangana government on January 7 issuing transfer and posting orders covering Hyderabad City, Cyberabad, Rachakonda, Malkajgiri and the newly formed Future City commissionerates.

Tafseer Iqubal has been transferred from Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Hyderabad City, and posted as Additional Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, South Range, comprising Shamshabad, Golconda, Rajendranagar and Charminar zones. N. Swetha has been moved from DCP, DD, Hyderabad City, and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, North Range, which includes Jubilee Hills, Khairatabad and Secunderabad zones.

S.M. Vijay Kumar has been transferred from Commissioner of Police, Siddipet, and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Special Branch, Hyderabad City. N. Koti Reddy, earlier DCP, Medchal Zone, has been posted as DCP, Qutubullapur Zone, a newly created zone under the Cyberabad commissionerate. K. Narayana Reddy, previously DCP, Maheshwaram Zone, has been retained as DCP, Maheshwaram Zone, now part of the newly created Future City commissionerate.

Rakshitha K. Murthy, who was serving as DCP, CAR Headquarters, Hyderabad City, has been posted as DCP, Secunderabad Zone, a newly created zone under the Hyderabad City commissionerate. K. Suresh Kumar, earlier DCP, Balanagar, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Uppal Zone, a newly formed zone under the Malkajgiri commissionerate.

Khare Kiran Prabhakar has been moved from DCP, South Zone, Hyderabad City, and posted as DCP, Charminar Zone, a newly created zone under the Hyderabad City commissionerate. B. Anuradha, earlier DCP, LB Nagar Zone, Rachakonda, has been posted as DCP, LB Nagar Zone, now part of the newly created Malkajgiri commissionerate.

Yogesh Goutam, previously DCP, Rajendranagar Zone, Cyberabad, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Chevella Zone, a newly created zone under the Future City commissionerate. Ritiraj, who was DCP, Madhapur, has been posted as DCP, Kukatpally Zone, a newly created zone under the Cyberabad commissionerate.

Ch. Srinivas has been moved from DCP, West Zone, Hyderabad City, and posted as DCP, Serilingampally Zone, a newly created zone under the Cyberabad commissionerate. Sadhana Rashmi Perumal, earlier DCP, North Zone, Hyderabad City, has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Siddipet, replacing S.M. Vijay Kumar.

Ch. Sridhar, who was serving as DCP, Malkajgiri, Rachakonda, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Malkajgiri Zone, a newly created zone under the Malkajgiri commissionerate. K. Shilpavalli, earlier DCP, Central Zone, Hyderabad City, has been posted as DCP, Khairatabad Zone, a newly created zone under the Hyderabad City commissionerate.

S. Sreenivas, Superintendent of Police, TGTransco, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Rajendranagar Zone, a newly created zone under the Hyderabad City commissionerate. G. Chandra Mohan, who was serving as SP NC and DCP, South West Zone, Hyderabad City, has been posted as DCP, Golconda Zone, a newly created zone under the Hyderabad City commissionerate.

A. Ramana Reddy, earlier SP NC and DCP, SOT, Rachakonda, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Jubilee Hills Zone, a newly created zone under the Hyderabad City commissionerate. B. Rajesh, previously SP NC and DCP, Shamshabad, has been posted as DCP, Shamshabad Zone, a newly created zone under the Hyderabad City commissionerate.

Ch. Sirisha, Superintendent of Police NC, Intelligence, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Shadnagar Zone, a newly created zone under the Future City commissionerate. The orders were issued by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao and took immediate effect.
