New DCC presidents appointed – The Hindu

After a long wait, the new District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents have been appointed on Saturday with five MLAs getting an opportunity to serve as presidents, while five women have also been accommodated in the new team.

The five MLAs who were appointed as DCC presidents are Beerla Ilaiah (Bhongir), Medipally Sathyam (Karimnagar), Chikkudu Vamshi Krishna (Nagarkurnool), Vedma Bhojju (Nirmal) and M.S. Raj Thakur (Peddapalli).

Others include Naresh Jadhav (Adilabad), Athram Suguna (Asifabad), Thota Devi Prasanna (Badradri Kothagudem), M. Rajeev Reddy (Gadwal), Engala Venkat Ram Reddy (Hanmakonda), Syed Khalid Saifullah (Hyderabad), Gajengi Nandaiah (Jagitial), Lakavath Dhanvanthi (Jangaon), Battu Karunakar (Jayashankar Bhupalpalle), Mallikarjun Ale (Kamareddy).

V. Anjan Kumar (Karimnagar Corporation), Motha Rohit Mudiraj (Khairatabad), Nuthi Satyanarayana (Khammam), Deepak Chowdary (Khammam Corporation), Bhukhya Uma (Mahabubabad), A. Sanjeev Mudiraj (Mahbubnagar), Pinninti Raghunath Reddy (Mancherial), Shivannagari Anjaneyulu Goud (Medak), Thotakura Vajresh Yadav (Medchal Malkajgiri), Paidakula Ashok (Mulugu).

Deepak John (Secunderabad), Thumkunta Anksha Reddy (Siddipet), Gudipati Narsaiah (Suryapet), Dhara Singh Jadav (Vikarabad), Mohammed Ayub (Warangal), Punna Kailash Netha (Nalgonda), Kollukuduru Prashanth Kumar Reddy (Narayanpet), Katpally Nagesh Reddy (Nizamabad), Bobbili Ramakrishna (Nizamabad Corporation) and Sangeetham Srinivas (Rajanna Sircilla)., Shivsena Reddy (Wanaparthy).

According to AICC general secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal, AICC observers appointed for each district which conducted extensive reviews, interacted with district-level leaders, office-bearers and stakeholders, and submitted detailed reports. The list was finalised based on their reports and views of senior leaders.
