Former KSEB cashier held after evading sentence in graft case

The VACB arrested a former cashier of the KSEB sub-engineer office at Tholikkode here, who had gone absconding after a court ordered him to surrender to serve a sentence in a corruption case, officials said on Saturday.

Sakkeer Hussain, a native of Nedumangad, was arrested by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) from Charummoodu here on Friday morning.
