Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy launched a unique programme, “Nannu Prashninchavacchu” (You Can Question Me), on Tuesday (May 26, 2026). Addressing the media alongside his brother, Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy, at his office in Nellore, he stated, “The people who voted for me have the right to question me. Questioning should be encouraged among the youth, and it should start with me.”

Mr. Giridhar Reddy, who is also the TDP State spokesperson, visited Harijanawada in the Kanuparthipadu area on Tuesday morning after being alerted that no development programmes had been carried out in the colony for the past two years. The funds were not sanctioned because the representatives of the MLA’s office did not understand the needs of the local people, he said.

Responding to the appeals from the people, he assured them that various development projects would be initiated in the colony with a budget of ₹50 lakh. He announced that he was apologising on behalf of the MLA and himself for the delay in local development projects over the past couple of years.

Reiterating the same, the MLA said, “Large-scale development works are being carried out in his constituency with hundreds of crores of rupees since the coalition government came to power in the State. However, not a single work has been done in this colony. I bow my head in shame and apologise to the people. I have ordered the officials to call for tenders for works worth ₹50 lakh by this evening.”
