National Safety day celebrated at Renault Group’s plant in city

The 55th National Safety Day was celebrated at Renault Group’s Chennai plant, Renault Nissan Automotive India Private Limited (RNAIPL) on Wednesday. Director of Industrial Safety and Health S. Ananth, Additional Director C. Saravanan, and Joint Director S. Elangovan, took part in the celebrations. V.M. Keerthi Prakash, Managing Director, RNAIPL, delivered the keynote address.

Mr. Ananth highlighted the importance of occupational safety and insisted that even the minor risks should not be ignored as it could prevent accidents and emphasised the need for a concerted effort from everyone. Around 150 participants including workers, supervisors and other management representatives were present in this function.
