Congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 4,399 consecutive days in office, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said his leadership was defined by a singular effort to change India at every level, from the everyday lives of its citizens to the nation’s standing in the world.

“Today, as he (Mr. Modi) becomes India’s longest-serving Prime Minister, we celebrate not merely a record, but a period of change that has touched every corner of the country,” Mr. Naidu posted on social media.

From a water tap in a humble home to the Chandrayaan mission reaching the moon, and from the aspirations of a farmer in the field to the courage of a soldier on the border, Mr. Modi’s leadership sought to ensure that the benefits of progress reached every Indian while strengthening the nation’s confidence and capabilities, Mr. Naidu said.

A striking feature of Mr. Modi’s tenure had been the balance between welfare and development, he said, adding that today’s India was more confident about its future, more ambitious in its goals and more determined in its pursuit of excellence.

“मातृभूमेः मानार्थम्। कर्मभूमेः कल्याणार्थम्। राष्ट्राय समर्पितम् जीवनम्॥”

This spirit has defined the leadership journey of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sri @narendramodi Ji and the NDA Government over the last 4,399 days of selfless service to the Nation.

Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan said that owing to 4,399 days of Mr. Modi’s selfless service, Bharat stood stronger, safer, more prosperous and more confident than ever before.

Under Mr. Modi’s leadership, he said, the NDA had strengthened national security and modernised the armed forces, while India had emerged as a leading global economy, hosted the G20, amplified the voice of the Global South and earned respect across the world.

He thanked Mr. Modi for his continued support for the inclusive development of Andhra Pradesh. “The State is proud to be a strong partner in realising the Viksit Bharat vision,” he said.

IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh said Mr. Modi had made a transformative contribution to India’s growth story, giving the nation stability, resilience and a clear sense of purpose amid unprecedented global uncertainty.

Mr. Modi’s leadership had guided India through some of its most challenging moments while ensuring that the country emerged stronger and more confident, he said.

Be it navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, responding firmly to national security challenges, managing economic disruptions arising from global conflicts or steering India through an increasingly uncertain geopolitical environment, his leadership gave the country confidence and direction when it mattered most, Mr. Lokesh said.

For Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Modi’s support had been invaluable, he said. His encouragement for the State’s development ambitions, and his partnership in advancing infrastructure, connectivity and economic opportunities, helped accelerate its growth, Mr. Lokesh said.
