A 29-year-old Revenue Inspector attached with K.V. Kuppam taluk office near Katpadi in Vellore, was killed after the two-wheeler he was riding on was hit by a lorry on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as S. Kannan. Initial inquiry revealed that the victim was returning to his house in Gudiyatham from K.V. Kuppam when an unidentified lorry driver lost control of the vehicle and hit Kannan’s bike.
