As per instructions of the Railway Board, the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Mysuru Division, Mudit Mittal, along with branch officers, conducted a surprise inspection onboard Train No. 16236 Tuticorin Express.

During the inspection, key safety and service aspects, including the availability and condition of fire extinguishers, passenger amenities, and other onboard safety arrangements, were thoroughly examined. The inspection aimed to ensure that all safety measures are in place and that passengers receive a high standard of comfort and service during their journey.

The DRM emphasised the importance of strict adherence to safety protocols and directed concerned officials to maintain optimal standards in passenger services and onboard safety mechanisms.

The division said in a press release that the initiative reflects the Railways’ continued commitment towards enhancing passenger safety, comfort, and overall travel experience.
