Minister to release digital content for art education in schools

Minister for General Education N. Samsudheen will release the digital content of art education activity books developed by the State Institute of Educational Technology (SIET) as part of the comprehensive quality education programme on Tuesday. Minister for Transport C.P. John will preside over the event, to be held at at Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School, Thycaud.

Based on the art education handbook, SIET has developed video lessons to guide children in various art activities. In schools that do not have art teachers, other teachers can use the digital content to effectively implement activities to promote students’ talents. The digital content has been included in the teacher training programme too. SIET director T. Sibi Mohammed will speak at the event.
