Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has accused the NDA alliance of hindering Bihar’s development through corruption and opportunistic politics. Speaking at an election campaign meeting alongside Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi in West Champaran, Bihar on Wednesday, he criticised the NDA for making unrealistic promises due to the fear of defeat.

He questioned the NDA’s failure to fulfill promises of one crore jobs and making Didis millionaires, asking, “How many jobs have you provided? How many Didis have become millionaires in 20 years,” he asked and alleged the NDA was attempting to woo voters with new promises, despite not implementing previous ones.

Mr. Reddy promised Telangana-style governance in Bihar if the Mahagathbandhan wins, highlighting the Telangana government’s implementation of election promises, including loan waivers, free electricity and affordable gas cylinders. He appealed to the people to support the Mahagathbandhan, stating that young Tejaswi Yadav will become Chief Minister if they win.
