Minister congratulates 12 swimmers from Kurnool for winning medals in recent State competitions

Minister for Industries and Commerce T.G. Bharath on Monday (November 10, 2025) congratulated 12 swimmers from Kurnool who won medals in various competitions held recently in the State.

The winners in the Under – 17 competitions held in Narasaraopet, Under – 19 competitions held in Visakhapatnam, and Master Swimmers Games in Vijayawada called on the Minister at the district Collectorate in Kurnool on Monday. Mr Bharath appreciated the children for excelling in sports and also in their academics.

He said the students will get discipline, persistence, self-confidence by participating in sports and hoped that the children would excel in national and international events. He felicitated the winners and commended the efforts of their coaches in honing the skills of the children.

Meanwhile, Collector A. Siri congratulated the winners of the recently held school games in Taekwondo. Dr. Siri said Sugandini won silver medal and Indrani won a bronze in the Under 19 girls competition held in Railway Kodur while Lekyasri Chandana won silver medal in girls Under 17 competitions held in Eluru. Revanth won a silver in the Under – 17 category, she added.
