Bharat Rasthra Samithi (BRS) legislators K.P. Vivekanand and Shambhipur (Sunkari) Raju said people were confused about the MIM’s election strategies and ideology now, since it was trying to help Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Bihar Assembly elections indirectly by fielding its candidates, while it was supporting the Congress in Telangana.

They said that the AIMIM not fielding a candidate in the byelection for the Jubilee Hills Assembly seat and supporting the ruling Congress has confused people. The MIM leadership was highly critical of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy even after the Assembly elections in the State, but now the party was finding a saviour in Mr. Reddy, they observed.

They also accused the Cabinet members of the Congress government in the State of vying with each other in making a fast buck through commissions in works and contracts. The previous K. Chandrasekhar government of the BRS had made Telangana a top State in the country in terms of best land and order, providing over 7 lakh employment in the private sector and improving the infrastructure, while the present Congress government was resorting to threatening contractors with guns to collect money.
