The annual conference of the Mahatma Gandhi University Employees Association has elected Joseph Abraham as its new president.
Suresh M.S. has been elected general secretary and Siju Jose M. treasurer. The general body meeting of the organisation, held on the Mahatma Gandhi University campus, has been inaugurated by K. Radhakrishnan, MP, central committee member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).
Jithin Sachidanandan, Rakesh M., Swapna A., Ashraf S. and Vijayalakshmi V. have been elected joint secretaries, while, Anoop S., Sukanya P., Amal Dev A., Jose J. and Simna Das are the vice-presidents.
