Mega PTM 4.0 draws over 7.1 million participants across Andhra Pradesh

Samagra Shiksha State Project Director B. Srinivasa Rao on Friday said the Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (Mega PTM) 4.0 was conducted on a grand scale in government, aided and Model Schools across Andhra Pradesh.

In a statement, he said the programme received an overwhelming response from students, parents, teachers and the community. According to official data compiled till 6 p.m. on Friday, 7,113,536 participants, including students, parents, teachers, donors, public representatives, alumni and other stakeholders, took part in the event.

Mr. Rao said 43,410 of the 44,076 schools in the State, accounting for 98.42%, successfully conducted the programme. Reports from the remaining 666 schools were awaited.

He expressed gratitude, on behalf of the Department of School Education and Samagra Shiksha, to the officials, students, parents, teachers, public representatives, donors, alumni and all others who contributed to the success of Mega PTM 4.0.
