A mega investment project for electric vehicle manufacturing is coming up at Ghiloth industrial area of Neemrana tehsil along the Delhi-Jaipur national highway in Rajasthan. The plant, to be established at 65.56 acres of land, will play a crucial role in supplying affordable e-buses all over the country and promote the renewable energy sector.

PMI Electro Mobility Solutions will invest ₹1,200 crore to build the state-of-the-art facility under a memorandum of understanding signed at the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit in Jaipur in December 2024. Besides assembling electric buses, the plant will produce bus bodies, electric motors, batteries, wire harnesses, and other core components.

The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) has allocated the land at Ghiloth for the bus manufacturing facility. A delegation from the private company met Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma here on Tuesday to apprise him of the plans for the proposed annual production capacity of 33,000 units.

Mr. Sharma said the project would help the State become a leading hub for electric vehicle manufacturing in the country. “This initiative will create numerous direct and indirect employment opportunities for the youth, who will also receive training in the emerging field of electromobility,” he said.

The new facility is expected to pave the way for green industrialisation and sustainable mobility in Rajasthan. The plant will support the local economy, reduce environmental pollution and strengthen sustainable urban development in the State.

The delegation comprised Managing Director of PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Satish Kumar Jain, Chief Executive Officer Anchal Jain, Executive Director Gajendra Yadav, and plant head Harish Yadav.
