A 34-year-old man stabbed his pregnant wife and was subsequently found dead in Ramadurg of Belagavi district.
According to the police, Umesh Badiger, a resident of Ramadurg, used to quarrel with his wife and on Sunday, as the quarrel escalated, he stabbed her and left. The injured woman is now recuperating in a hospital.
On Monday, the police found Umesh’s body in a well. Fire and Emergency Services personnel retrieved the body.
The Ramadurg Police have registered a case and are investigating.
