The All India Mahila Congress (AIMC) on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) announced a nationwide “postcard campaign” seeking immediate implementation of 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha based on its current strength of 543 seats.

AIMC chief Alka Lamba, addressing a press conference, said the campaign aims to mobilise 10 lakh women to send postcards to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, pressing for the enforcement of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, 2023, immediately.
