Lotteries for Indiramma Houses in Hyderabad from August 27; draws to be livestreamed

The lottery draws to select beneficiaries for 7,340 Indiramma Houses in Hyderabad (CURE) region would be held constituency-wise from August 27, 2026. The process would be streamed live on YouTube and other platforms.

The lotteries would be held in the presence of officials from Revenue, Housing departments and media personnel, for four constituencies everyday, said the Housing Board’s Vice Chairman V.P. Gautham. 

The draws will be held according to reservations for applicants from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), people with disabilities, and government outsourcing, class IV employees and sanitation workers. A waiting list for each of the categories too would be prepared and they too would be selected through lottery. 

Affordable flats in towers

The State government received over 60,000 applications for 7,340 affordable flats in 16 Assembly constituencies in Core Urban Region (CURE) limits from July 21 to August 15, 2026. The affordable flats would be provided in housing towers. The government would provide a subsidy of ₹5 lakh per flat and each beneficiary has to pay ₹6 lakh in installments. While the built up area of each flat is 528 sft, carpet area is 400 sft including hall, kitchen and a bedroom.

Verification underway

Currently, verification of applications is underway. If applicants own a flat or plot within Outer Ring Road (ORR) limits, whether they have been residing in Hyderabad, and other aspects are being checked, said Mr. Gautham. 

Applicants list from August 21 evening

The list of applicants would be displayed online on the websites of MeeSeva (https://ts.meeseva.telangana.gov.in/), Telangana Housing Board (tghb.cgg.gov.in,tghb.telangana.gov.in), from the evening on Thursday (August 20, 2026).

Objections

People can submit objections against details in the list till the evening on Sunday (August 23, 2026). After examining the objections, a list of applicants eligible for the lotteries would be announced on August 25, 2026. In case of doubts, people can dial 040 24603572.

Check application status

The option to check the application status is provided on the MeeSeva website, which leads to Telangana Housing Board’s website (https://tghb.telangana.gov.in/cure-status). On the Board’s website, click on the ‘CURE status’ tab to access this window. “Check the status of your Indiramma Indlu application in the CURE (Hyderabad) area, and raise a claim if you wish to contest the decision,” reads the message on the window.
