Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh on Thursday emphasised that cooperation is key to the progress of Telugu States. The two leaders met on the sidelines of the Davos forum to discuss education reforms, IT development, and skill-building initiatives.
During the meeting, , Mr. Lokesh presented details of Andhra Pradesh’s ongoing education reforms and IT progress. He highlighted initiatives under the Andhra model of education and discussed the tangible results of policy measures aimed at improving student outcomes.
Mr. Revanth Reddy briefed Mr. Lokesh on Telangana’s development and welfare programmes, particularly the State’s skill development initiatives implemented in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services. He invited Mr. Lokesh to visit fully modernised ITIs in Telangana, developed as skill campuses, to witness the transformation first hand.
The Telangana Chief Minister also elaborated on infrastructure projects in Mulugu district, including the modernisation of the Medaram Sammakka Saralamma temple complex with hundreds of crores in investments, road development, and other civic facilities, describing it as a decades-long vision realised by the current government.
Both leaders agreed that cooperative governance and collaborative investments would make the Telugu States a model for the country. They expressed confidence that competition in attracting investments would not only benefit their States but also serve as a benchmark for national development.
