Today (November 29, 2025) is the last date to file nominations for the first phase of Telangana Gram Panchayat Elections-2025. District Election Authorities have directed Returning Officers and staff concerned to brace up for a surge in the number of nominations.
The process began at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday (November 27, 2025) and ends at 5 p.m. Saturday. Till the end of Friday, 8198 nominations were received for 4,236 Sarpanch posts and 11,502 for 37,440 Ward Member posts.
Mahbubnagar Collector Viziendira Boyi directed the Election staff to be ready with required documents, Help Desk and provide necessary information to people.
Wanaparthy District Collector Adarsh Surabhi urged people not to wait till the last minute and reach the Returning Officer’s office early to complete the process.
