Jewellery groups gives scholarships to 2,800 girl students in Andhra Pradesh

A retail jewellery group has extended educational support to 2,800 students in Andhra Pradesh with a total allocation of ₹2.52 crore under its scholarship programme.

This is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Malabar Gold and Diamonds announced ₹200 crore for taking up various programmes in the country for the year 2026-27, the company said in a release.

At an event held in Vijayawada on Thursday, in the presence of Minister for Women, Child Welfare and Tribals Welfare G. Sandhya Rani, the company representatives extended the scholarships to girl students.

It has so far supported 15,626 scholarships in the State, the company said in the release.
