Amaravati Development Corporation (ADC) Chairperson and Managing Director D. Lakshmi Parthasarathy on Tuesday (April 28, 2026) directed contractors to ensure better food and accommodation for workers engaged in capital construction work, many of whom have migrated from neighbouring States with their families.

During inspections of central kitchen facilities at labour camps, she visited sites at Lingayapalem (NCC camp), Thullur (RVR camp), a mega camp near N-13 Road, and the BSR and BSPL camps near N-16 Road in Ananthavaram. Accompanied by officials, she reviewed food quality, sanitation, toilets, drinking water and utility water arrangements.
