HYDERABAD

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao has accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of back-stabbing AICC in-charge of Telangana Meenakshi Natarajan, resulting in the rejection of her nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha election from Madhya Pradesh.

Mr. Rama Rao claimed that Mr. Revanth Reddy had got a false case registered against Ms. Natarajan as “his irregularities and scams were being taken to the notice of the party high command by her”. KTR claimed the CM passed on the details of a false case to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders in the State.

Speaking at the party (BRS) general body meeting of the Khairatabad constituency here on Sunday, he said the CM was practising heinous politics, and in the past too, he had prevented Ms. Natarajan from getting the party ticket for Rajya Sabha election.

On the Chief Minister’s remarks of taking Hitler as inspiration, the BRS leader said it was unfortunate that the Chief Minister had announced it personally. He described the Congress administration as an “utter flop” movie, stating that the government had failed to implement its promises though it had completed half of its term.

KTR claimed not even 4,000 jobs were filled out of 2 lakh jobs promised, and the government had also failed to provide ₹4,000 per month unemployment allowance, as promised.

The BRS leader said that a byelection in Khairatabad was inevitable as sitting MLA Danam Nagender had betrayed the people’s mandate by defecting from BRS to the Congress. He urged the party workers to remain vigilant against Congress’s attempts to manipulate voter lists during the special intensive revision.

He asked the booth-level agents of the party to actively participate in the SIR from June 25 to July 31 and to conduct the party‘s membership drive digitally. He condemned HYDRAA for demolishing the homes of the poor.
