Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao on Tuesday (April 14, 2026) cautioned the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led Central government against any proposed delimitation [of Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies] exercise that could reduce the representation of southern States, saying such a move would trigger a widespread public agitation across the region.

He asserted that the BRS would mount a firm opposition to any such move and called upon the Centre to take into account the prevailing realities.
