Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) has announced short-term additional discount on mobile QR digital tickets.
Commuters already receive a 10% fare discount on tickets booked through mobile platforms. At present, 34% of the metro’s total ticket sales is through digital modes, according to a release.
To further promote complete digitisation of ticketing, the Kochi metro is offering an additional 5% discount, taking the total discount to 15% on mobile QR tickets. The promotional offer will be effective from Monday (January 26, 2026), it said.
