P.K. Sreemathi, Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] central committee member and All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) president, has filed a complaint with the State Police Chief against those circulating misinformation and abusive posts on social media.

According to the complaint, the posts are being circulated falsely attributing statements to her, and allegedly using fabricated posters featuring her photograph and the party symbol. The CPI(M) leader claimed that the fake campaign was intended to tarnish her reputation as an active public figure and undermine her political positions.
