Kavitha charting her own political course with Telangana sentiment at heart

Kalvakuntla Kavitha, daughter of former Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao, is set to launch her own political party on Saturday, to script an independent political journey.

The name for the party doing the rounds is Telangana Praja Jagruthi, which echoes the Telangana sentiment and an attempt to revive the emotional and cultural connect around Telangana identity, something the BRS diluted when it rebranded itself with a national outlook.
