Kauvery Hospital, in collaboration with The Hindu, will host a webinar on ‘Post-partum Care for Mothers’, as part of its wellness series, to commemorate Mothers’ Day.

Kauvery Hospital, in collaboration with The Hindu, will host a webinar on ‘Post-partum Care for Mothers’, as part of its wellness series, to commemorate Mothers’ Day.

The post-partum phase involves not only physical recovery after childbirth but also dealing with emotional adjustments, hormonal changes, and the demands of newborn care.

Expert insights

The session aims at offering expert insights into holistic recovery, including medical care, mental health, nutrition, and overall well-being.

At the webinar, K. Thendral, Clinical Lead and Senior Consultant, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Kauvery Hospital, Radial Road, will speak on ‘General Post-partum Care and Lactation’; P. Sathya Sudhakar, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Kauvery Hospital, Salem, will make a presentation on ‘Mental Health and Support Systems’; and Manjeswari G., Psychologist and Sexual Health Therapist, Maa Kauvery, Trichy, will deal with ‘Sexual Well-being and Exercises for Post-partum Mothers’.
