The State government will undertake ‘Prajaseva Abhiyan’ in which district in-charge Ministers have been asked to cover two constituencies every month. The drive to address the grievances of people at the doorsteps will be held on the first and the third Saturdays of every month.

Meanwhile, senior IAS officer Harsh Gupta, who is the Chairman of the Karnataka Appellate Authority, has been posted as the Principal Secretary to the newly created Prajaseva Department.

The Chief Minister said, “District in-charge Ministers have to compulsorily participate in the abhiyan in which local legislators will also take part. District-level officers from all departments will be present during the abhiyan where grievances will be addressed. This will prevent people from coming to Bengaluru.”

He said that applications forms will be provided to people with grievances, and they can fill the form before dropping it in the counters. “I will also travel to taluks in between (to participate).”
