Kanaka Durga temple management to introduce online services soon

The management of Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam (Kanaka Durga Temple) atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada on Wednesday (December 17) announced that comprehensive online services will be introduced soon to enhance transparency and for the convenience of the devotees.

At a press conference, temple chairperson B. Radhakrishna (Gandhi), Executive Officer V.K. Seena Naik and senior officials said darshan tickets, seva bookings, prasadam, donations and registrations will soon be made available online.

They said online donations, e-hundi, darshan and seva bookings will be rolled out soon through www.aptemple.org, http://www.aptemples.org and the Mana Mitra app.

The temple management said a devotee, Lakshmi Narasayya Chowdary, has donated computers, printers and UPS systems worth ₹10.13 lakh and expressed their gratitude for his generosity.

They said that during the Bhavani Deeksha 2025, a special mobile app and a command control room connected to 300-odd CCTV cameras were used to manage crowd. The five-day deeksha concluded peacefully, with around 6 lakh devotees participating in it, they said.
