The Jana Sena Party (JSP) legislature in a virtual meeting held on Thursday resolved to highlight the YSRCP’s alleged misconduct regarding the adulteration of Tirumala laddu prasadam ghee as the party continues to deny responsibility despite emerging evidence.
Sentiments of the Hindus were hurt due to the offensive act, the MLCs and MLAs asserted. The MLCs and MLAs also decided to focus on development and to engage in healthy debates during the upcoming budget session of the State Legislature.
JSP president and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan addressed the MLAs from Visakhapatnam. Ministers Nadendla Manohar and Kandula Durgesh, K. Nagababu, Konathala Ramakrishna and other leaders participated.
Mr. Manohar told the elected representatives to study subjects comprehensively before posing questions and seek explanations in the Legislative Council and Assembly.
The MLCs and MLAs discussed the allegations made against Railway Kodur MLA Arava Sridhar, who was told to stay from party activities till a decision was taken by a three member inquiry committee.
They also emphasised on the need to counter the alleged malicious campaign unleashed against the JSP by the YSRCP, saying that it was trying all possible tricks to lower the image of the ruling coalition.
