A team comprising Jana Sena Party legislators Konatala Ramakrishna, Panchakarla Ramesh Babu and Ch. Vamsi Krishna Yadav have been touring in North Andhra districts to meet the party leaders and cadre and instruct them to begin working for the ensuing municipal elections.

The team which completed its first leg of the tour in Vizianagaram on Saturday will have a meeting in Srikakulam on Monday. The team has asked local leaders to bring their grievances with regard to changes in jurisdictions of the divisions of respective civic bodies. Currently, Vizianagaram has 50 divisions and their number is expected to go up to 62.

JSP senior leader Avanapu Vikram submitted a report to the visiting team about the opportunities for the party in next local body elections. He reportedly requested the team to ensure coordination meeting with alliance partners TDP and BJP in all districts. He said that it would benefit all alliance parties in next elections.

JSP senior leader Adada Mohana Rao said the party had good network in Parvatipuram and other parts of Parvatipuram-Manyam district.

JSP Srikakulam district president Pisini Chandra Mohan exuded confidence that the party local leaders would gain more confidence with the visit of top leaders on Monday in Srikakulam. He said that the party would prove its strength whenever the elections are held in Srikakulam district.
