The Andhra Pradesh government has allotted 20 acres of land in Visakhapatnam to Infosys for the development of a large-scale IT campus with a proposed seating capacity of 7,000 professionals.

Infosys has seen steady growth in the city over the past two years, expanding its workforce from about 250 employees in early 2024 to nearly 1,900. The company, which began Visakhapatnam operations from a rented facility in the Rushikonda IT zone in October 2023, is also set to add 750 seats in the near term. Looking ahead, Infosys has laid out plans to set up a permanent campus on the allotted 20-acre site, reinforcing its long-term commitment to Visakhapatnam as a strategic technology hub.
