India and the United Kingdom will share information on cybercrime investigations, modern slavery, and call centre scams, according to deliberations at the sixth India-U.K. Home Affairs Dialogue held in Delhi on Friday (February 27, 2026).

India’s concerns over the breach of security of Indian dignitaries and diplomatic missions in the U.K. were also emphasised at the meet.

While India will take the lead in providing information on cybercrime investigations, the U.K. would lead the collaboration on modern slavery.

The Indian delegation was led by Secretary (Border Management), Rajendra Kumar, and the U.K. delegation was led by Second Permanent Secretary, Home Office, Simon Ridley. The meeting was also attended by other senior officials of both countries.

During the meeting, both sides assessed the ongoing cooperation and identified further areas of mutual interests and synergies for proactive cooperation in counter-terrorism and organised crimes, including pro-Khalistani extremists and the activities of anti-India groups in the U.K., drug trafficking, migration, criminal justice and law enforcement cooperation, cyber security, among other issues, a government statement said.

The meeting concluded with the mutual satisfaction of both sides on the existing level of cooperation and agreement to strengthen the bilateral engagement by maintaining the momentum for enhanced security cooperation, it said.
