For the M.Tech programme, the candidates should have relevant educational background and at least two years of work experience, while the PG Diploma programme is open to graduates, including freshers, with preference for those with relevant educational background.

Those interested may submit their applications through the portal https://code.iitm.ac.in/webmtech. The last date for submission of applications is May 31.

The entrance exams are scheduled for June and July and selected candidates will start their academic sessions in August or September.

The programmes are structured to offer multiple entry and exit options in disciplines ranging from Aerospace Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Security (Computer Science), to Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Analytics, Mechanical Engineering, E-mobility, and Process Safety. Around 1,200 students are enrolled into the web-enabled M.Tech programmes while over 500 have graduated with an M.Tech degree, a release said.
