Hyderabad Weather September 19 | Light to moderate rain towards evening or night

Hyderabad may receive rain again on Friday (September 19, 2025). India Meteorological Department in its impact-based forecast for the city and its neighbourhood has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied with gusty winds (30-40 kmph), as very likely to occur in towards the evening or night. This could lead to water pooling on roads and low-lying areas.

Hyderabad in-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar held a teleconference with officials concerned on the precautions that need to be taken during rains. Officials were directed to immediately respond to the complaints from people living in low-lying areas. A toll-free number for people to complain has to be publicised widely. 

Police have to be deployed at rail under bridges to ensure people driving vehicles pass through the roadway safely. It has to be ensured that people do not open manholes in any situation.
