HR Conclave to be held at Guru Nanak College on December 10

Guru Nanak College (Autonomous), Chennai, along with Nasscom SSC and FutureSkills PRIME, will organise an Human Resources (HR) Conclave on Wednesday (December 10, 2025) on the theme ‘Digitalization-Shaping Futures, 2026,and Beyond’ at the Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Auditorium on the college premises.

The event is being conducted to expose students to the present-day industry demands and workplace scenarios. The conclave will be inaugurated by Udhaya Sankar, director, Nasscom. An expert panel of members across domains will share their insights and experiences on topics such as ‘Becoming Industry Ready, Way Beyond the Curriculum” and “Extensive Influence of AI Across Domains”. The panel discussions will be followed by interactions with the students.

In its pursuit to upskill its students, the college has collaborated with organisations such as the Europe India Foundation of Excellence (EIFE), ISIPCA (France), Nasscom, Cisco, ICT Academy, Oracle Academy, SAS Global, Mongo DB, AWS Academy, NPTEL-IIT-M, Wipro, Celonis, Infosys Springboard, The Hindu-STEP, and Wadwani Foundation (Pre-placement training).

The Guru Nanak Centre for Skill Development (GNCSD) was founded in 2019 to bridge the gap between academia and industry. The Centre has provided 76 skill courses so far, and over 68,000 students have benefited in the last six years.
