The Shivamogga Police have registered 55 cases against people who used high-decibel DJ equipment during the recent Ganesha Chaturthi and Id Milad celebrations.
In a communique released to the media on Wednesday, the Shivamogga Police stated that there were several complaints on the use of high-decibel DJ systems, causing inconvenience to the public across the district. Considering the complaints, the police registered the cases and initiated further action.
The police also warned that they would take strict action against those who use such systems in the coming days.
