Telangana government activated a dedicated emergency helpline to assist residents of the State currently stranded in Nepal. 

Helpline numbers

For assistance, people were asked to contact officers at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi: Vandhana, Private Secretary to Resident Commissioner & Liaison Head at +91 9871999044;  G. Rakshith Naik, Liaison Officer at +91 9643723157 and CH. Chakravarthi, Public Relations Officer at +91 9949351270, as per a press release issued on Wednesday (September 10, 2025).

“While no Telangana citizen has been reported injured or missing, the Government is taking proactive precautionary measures in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu to ensure the safety and swift repatriation of its citizens,” it stated.

The Government urged the people to follow official advisories and refrain from sharing or acting upon unverified information.
