Heavy rainfall forecast in 11 Telangana districts on July 1

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall forecast for 11 Telangana districts for Wednesday (July 1, 2026).

11 districts under health rainfall alert

According to IMDs latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Medak and Kamareddy districts. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in all 33 districts.

Hyderabad weather forecast

Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with heavy spells at one or two places accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in the city towards night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 33℃ and 25℃ respectively,” as per the bulletin.
