Heavy rainfall alert in five Telangana districts on June 6

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall warning in five Telangana districts for Saturday.

According to the IMD’s latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Nalgonda, Suryapet, Warangal, Hanumakonda and Nagarkunrool districts. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in all 33 districts.

Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with heavy spells at times accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 36C and 24C respectively,” the bulletin said.
