Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot felicitated the Mysuru Police Band team for its performance at Lok Bhavan as part of the Independence Day celebrations.

On the final day of the public viewing of the special illumination at Lok Bhavan on Tuesday (August 18), the Governor joined members of the public and listened to the melodious performance by the band. He encouraged the musicians for their performance.

The band, led by Police Band Master R. Dasappa, entertained visitors with its music for three consecutive days. The Governor presented a letter of appreciation and a cash award to the team.

Mr. Dasappa, who is set to retire from service later this month, was also felicitated.

The public response to the Independence Day illumination at Lok Bhavan was encouraging, with visitors enjoying both the illumination and the band’s musical performances.
