A 48-year-old teacher at Government Primary School was killed after a car rammed a two-wheeler he was riding in Naidumangalam village on Saturday.

The deceased teacher was identified as C. Rajendran, a resident of Naidumangalam village, working at the Government Primary School in the village. He was returning home in the two-wheeler on Chittoor – Cuddalore Highway. As he tried to take a right turn on a busy stretch, the car hit the two-wheeler.
